Fun at the Leigh house....

So last blog I told you that I cant find the charger to my camera; well that's not the only thing missing. Jamie had to take his truck into the shop this week to get looked at and it took them TWO days, just to look at it! (not to fix it!) So that left me and Madalyn at home. My friend asked me to go to the carnival with her, which we got very excited about. But Jamie had the car seat!!! AHHHH!
Well then (at the same time) our computer has been giving in and we had to take that in. Now I am stuck at home with no car or computer! We got the truck back yesterday but still no computer. Right now I am sitting next to my mom at her house giving you updates on our life.... but I must say it sounds like a couple of woodpeckers as mom and I type away :)
Any way I am rambling. I will get to the stuff everyone wants to know.... How is Madalyn and has she rolled over yet. No she hasn't and she is amazing!
She is getting kinda chubby :) The healthy look is what we refer to it as. Let me think; what has been new this week?...... She giggles at allot now. She is sleeping 5-6 hours a night. She LOVES her daddy, she goes crazy when he talks to her. She follows me all around the house with her eyes. She stares at her hands; beginning to realize that they are hers. She loves coming over to Grandma's (grandma has the cool toys). Selby loves coming to Grandma's too. She has to weigh over 13 pounds and is getting very hard to carry!
I am getting much better at leaving her with Grandma. Jamie and I have date night every Friday and it has been really nice to have adult time.
I LOVE staying at home. I didn't think I would like it at first but I am discovering that I love being Susie home maker! I told Jamie that this is the happiest I have ever been! I always thought that I would be like my mom, a career driven woman, but I am discovering that I love being at home. (now i know Madalyn is not walking yet and I might change my mind then :) I remember my mom staying home for 1 year when we were kids and it just wasn't her thing. And I always assumed I would be the same. So its pretty cool discovering what I really like and not what I thought I would like.

Any way I think this is enough pecking for now.... Miss you all....
oh yeah one more thing: I am going to be running a 5k in May and a mrathone in November!
